Difference between Hacker, Programmer and Developer

People new to the tech study are somewhere confused between the three types hacker, programmer and Developer. There is a definite difference between these three fields and even the work done by these people are also different. If you are interested in reading about this information or find it helpful for your usage then please read it down.

Hacker

A hacker is an individual who uses computer, networking or other skills to overcome a technical problem. The term hacker may refer to anyone with technical skills, but it often refers to a person who uses his or her abilities to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks in order to commit crimes. A hacker may, for example, steal information to hurt people via identity theft, damage or bring down systems and, often, hold those systems hostage to collect ransom.
The hacker does whatever without the legal permissions and this can be named as Black hat hacker. The hacker who do all of the hacking things with the permissions just to find if there are any flaws in the network or the digital creations is named as White hat hacker. Gray hat hackers fall somewhere between white hat hackers and black hat hackers. While their motives may be similar to those of white hat hackers, gray hats are more likely than white hat hackers to access systems without authorization; at the same time, they are more likely than black hat hackers to avoid doing unnecessary damage to the systems they hack.

Programmer

A programmer is an individual that writes/creates computer software or applications by giving the computer specific programming instructions. A programmer also may specialize in one or more computing fields, like database, security or software/firmware/mobile/Web development. These individuals are instrumental to the development of computer technology and the field of computing. The programmer handles the back-end processes of the systems and hardware. Usually, the programmers work on the servers and the hardware units to add the digital possibilities to it. Like they find the node between the hardware and the software means how a hardware can be controlled by the system codes and how the working of something can be modified by their automation etc.

Developer

A developer is the key individual behind all software applications. Generally, developers are well versed in at least one programming language and proficient in the art of structuring and developing software code for software or a program. Depending on job role and type of software developed, a developer may be classified as a software developer, application developer, mobile developer, Web developer, etc.
For example, a software developer is an individual that may create a new software program or maintain an existing software program. A web developer is an individual that creates or updates web pages, utilizing HTML, JavaScript, or other web programming languages.
